Silver Dollar City is announcing the closure of a popular ride at the amusement park.
Park officials say the 2023 season will be the final year for the popular ‘Fire in the Hole’ attraction due to an increase in company growth scheduled for the next decade.
The ride was introduced at the park in 1972, and the park says millions experienced the ride during its 50+ years of existence.
No specifics have been released, but SDC spokesperson Lisa Rau says the company has plans for what will replace Fire in the Hole once it is officially closed.
