Students and teachers at Bingham Elementary in Springfield are back in class now after a smoke scare caused a quick evacuation.
Authorities say they arrived at the building and saw smoke, but were never able to conclude where the smoke was coming from and what a possible cause may have been.
A short time after arriving, fire crews were able to give the all clear for everyone to return to the school, according to Springfield Public Schools.
Bingham Elementary is located at the corner of Barnes and Cherry in central Springfield and educates students from K-6th Grade.
