Springfield AMC Closes for Emergency Repairs
Moviegoers hoping to catch a film Monday night at AMC 11 in Springfield had to make other plans.
What We Know: The theater on East Montclair shut down all evening showings because of a water main break. A notice posted on the door said plumbers are working to fix the problem.
What It Means: Customers who bought tickets online will automatically get refunds. Anyone with physical tickets will receive passes later.
So far, the theater hasn’t said whether it plans to reopen soon.
