Springfield City Council Considering Marijuana Restrictions

Springfield City Council is working on an ordinance to regulate where marijuana can be consumed.

The proposed ordinance would restrict marijuana use in public places and bar anyone from using marijuana in a moving vehichle.

Assistant City Attorney Lana Woolsey says Jefferson City is the only city in Missouri that has passed marijuana usage laws so far.

Springfield City Council could vote on an ordinance as early as April 17th.
