What We Know: The kids are back in town! College kids, that is. This weekend will be move-in days for students attending Missouri State University and Drury University as the fall semester begins at both institutions on Monday, August 17th.
Classes at Evangel University start Wednesday, August 19th, with OTC beginning the fall semester on August 24th.
The start of the school year brings a resurgence to the area. Missouri State University expects more than 25,000 students, OTC has over 11,000, Evangel enrolls around 2,700, and Drury has a little over 2,200.
With the influx of students and parents for the drop-off, expect increased traffic around the city.
