What We Know: Springfield City Council is considering extending its temporary delay on data center development until February.

What It Means: The current delay is set to expire November 17th.

At Monday night’s meeting, council members heard public comments on the proposed extension and plans to add definitions for data centers to the city’s code.

Council is expected to vote on both proposals at its November 16th meeting.
