Springfield Gas Chain Resisting New Gambling Ordinance

Some gas stations in Springfield have not yet complied with the new ban on gambling machines.

Two Fast ‘N Friendly locations in Springfield have claimed that the new regulations implemented by the Springfield City Council do not apply to their no-chance gaming machines.

The company that supplies these machines, Torch Electronics, has had their attorneys write a letter detailing their argument regarding the ordinance.

The consequences for not complying with the ordinance is a $500 fine for the first violation, a $1000 fine for the second, and the third is punishable by jail time.
