Two Springfield agencies worked to rescue a man trapped in a storm drain on Sunday.
What We Know: Springfield police responded to reports of a man who was unable to get out of a storm drain near the intersection of Market and Lombard around 5:49 p.m.
With the aid of the Springfield Fire Department, crews were able to remove a small amount of concrete and rescue the man.
What Remains Unclear: Officials have not said what led to the man getting stuck in the storm drain or his identity.
