The Springfield Police Department is mourning the loss of a retired K-9 officer.
Springfield Police say 10-year-old Ronin died Monday.
He had been living with retired Officer Jeff Henson, who was also his handler. Ronin was with the Springfield Police from 2016 to 2023.
Ronin has been laid to rest at the Lakeland Pet Cemetery in Springfield.
