A woman was found with non-life threatening gunshot wound after police received reports of a shooting at John B. Hughes Apartments late Tuesday.
What We Know: Springfield Police officers were called to the apartment complex on Clifton Avenue at around 10:45 p.m. Tuesday after reports of a woman in a vehicle of the parking lot had been shot. The woman was taken to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
What Remains Unclear: Police have said that the victim and possible suspects know each other. Officers located the vehicle of the suspects, but have not located the suspects themselves and no arrests have been made. Other vehicles in the parking lot of the complex were found to be damaged.
What’s Next: Police are still investigating what led up to the incident and the whereabouts of the suspects. KWTO will have updated information when it become available.
