After an incident Wednesday, the Stone County Sheriff’s Office is requesting help from the public in located and apprehending a wanted fugitive.
Investigators say Jordan Tinker was previously wanted for violating parole in Taney County as well as domestic assault and property damage in Stone County.
Authorities say the attempted to stop Tinker in Taney County. The stop escalated and he nearly hit a trooper with the Missouri Highway Patrol.
Following the incident, Tinker led authorities in Christian County on a chase before he escaped.
In a release, Stone County Sheriff’s say Tinker is a resident of Reeds Spring, but is frequently seen in both Taney and Christian counties. If you see him, deputies urge you to call 911.
