Springfield Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a fatal shooting.
Officers with assistance from U-S Marshals arrested 19-year-old Christopher Salazar-Montes of El Salvador at a mobile home park on Cedarbrook Avenue.
The victim, 26-year-old Marvin Rodriquez Sanchez of Mexico, was found with a gunshot wound late Tuesday night in the 1900 block of North Burton Avenue.
He died later at a hospital.
The Greene County Prosecutor has charged Salazar-Montes with second-degree murder and armed criminal action.
