93.3 KWTO Keeping Watch Over the Ozarks
A man was arrested after a standoff with police at an apartment building in Ozark Tuesday afternoon.
The Ozark Police Department and Springfield Special Response Team responded to a disturbance call at an apartment building on West Petrus Circle around noon Tuesday.
Police say 23-year-old Stanchez Sampson held a woman against her will before she escaped and called 9-1-1.
Sampson then barricaded himself in the apartment.
The standoff with law enforcement lasted around three hours.
He is jailed on a no-bond warrant.
