Tax Issues On April 7 Ballot in Greene County

Voters in Greene County will address several tax issues in the April 7 election.

Springfield voters will consider a 3% increase in hotel and motel taxes to fund a proposed convention center.

In the Willard and Ebenezer fire protection districts, levy increases of 29 cents and 25 cents per $100 of assessed valuation, respectively, will be proposed.

Additionally, the Pleasant Hope School District seeks to raise its operating tax levy to $3.24 this year and $3.34 in 2027 to enhance staff salaries and benefits.
