The Branson Police Department, with the help of several other agencies, arrested three men on Wednesday for an armed robbery that happened in early May.

What We Know: On Wednesday, May 27th, Branson Police arrested David Simpson, 20, of Ozark, Nathan Girard, 20, of Rockaway Beach, and Jordan Molz, 21, of Branson. Three simultaneous search warrants were executed and took the three suspects, as well as two others unrelated to the case, into custody.

The incident occurred on May 7th. The victim reported getting struck with firearms by six men with masks and having a handgun, necklace, and two cell phones stolen. The victim sustained several injures, including broken teeth and lacerations to the face. The men eventually fled in different vehicles with the victim running to a gas station to call the police.

Investigators uncovered weapons believed to be involved in the robbery and social media videos leading them to the three arrested.

What It Means: Simpson, Girard, and Molz have all been charged with first-degree robbery and armed criminal action. Police say that the men were not affiliated with any gangs. The investigation is ongoing and the BPD ask that anyone with information contact the investigators at 417-334-3300.
