Tree Falls On Roof of the Reeds Spring Mayor’s Home

The mayor of Reeds Spring is recovering after a large tree fell on his home.

High winds from Sunday night’s storms blew a tree onto the roof of Mayor Rob Chamberlin’s home in Reeds Spring.

He and his family were trapped inside.

Crews from the Stone County Fire Protection District worked over half an hour to rescue the family.

Mayor Chamberlin told KOLR-TV news that he suffered a broken neck during the incident.
