Trial Set For Man Accused of Murder in Stone County Shooting

A trial concerning a shooting death in Stone County has been set for May 2026.

Heath Sanborn from Shell Knob, MO has been charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of a man found alongside Highway M back in May.

Sanborn is accused of murder, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon in connection with this man’s death.

A hearing will be held on November 4, 2025 and an April 7, 2026 pretrial conference before the trial commences.
