Students in Conway had a short second day of school after a crash caused a propane leak.

A delivery truck crashed into an air conditioning unit at Ezard Elementary, around 9 AM Wednesday, causing the air in the school building to fill with propane.

The faculty evacuated to students quickly and the maintenance staff shut off the propane.

Conway Volunteer Fire Department used fans to remove the remaining gas fumes from the building.

The district dismissed class for the rest of the day but will be back in session tomorrow.
