Two people were killed in a three-car crash in Morgan County Tuesday morning.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the crash occurred on U.S. Highway 50 near Old Route 50.
The reports says a Mercedes-Benz headed eastbound hit the rear end of a Chevrolet Cobalt, which pushed it into the westbound lane, where it crashed head-on with a Mazda 3.
The 38-year-old driver of the Mazda was pronounced dead at the scene, and the driver and passenger in the Chevrolet suffered serious injuries and were airlifted to University Hospital in Columbia, MO.
The passenger was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
No injuries were reported to the driver of the Mercedes-Benz.
