UPDATE – Name of Lake Springfield Drowning Victim Released

The Missouri State Highway Patrol has identified a swimmer who drowned Tuesday in Lake Springfield.

The Highway patrol says 35 year old John Hance jumped into the water at Low Head Dam and never resurfaced.

Rescue teams located his body at 8:45 PM.
