A door greeter at a Walmart store in Springfield was injured while trying to stop a shoplifter.
The greeter at the store on east Independence tried to stop a woman and was pushed.
The door greeter had minor injuries.
Police say the shoplifter was about 5’9″ and wearing mostly black clothing.
She was with an unidentified man.
