UPDATE: One of two workers critically injured in a water main break on Main Street in Branson last week has died. The worker has been identified as Jacob Seiler III.

The break occurred Thursday near Branson Landing as crews from Emery Sapp & Sons had shut down part of Main Street while working on the Branson Streetscape Project.

Those crews hit a water line.

The company put out a statement saying the victim acted heroically to help a coworker, and his courage and selflessness reflect the person he was.

Another employee injured in the incident is recovering at a local hospital.
