A woman from Camden County has died in a crash on Monday, May 18th.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, a 20 year old Macks Creek resident died around 8:11 am on eastbound U.S. 54 west of Route AA.
Officials say the woman was driving a 2017 Hyundai Sonata when her car hydroplaned, spun, and crossed the center of the highway striking a 1997 Chevrolet GMT-400 driven by a man from Roach, Missouri.
Troopers state the woman’s vehicle went off the left side of the road and struck a guardrail. She was pronounced dead at the scene by a Camden County Medical Examiner.
The man in the crash was seriously injured and transported to a hospital.
This is the 20th fatality for 2026 for Troop F.
