A woman from Aurora will be due in court next year for a jury trial as she is accused of crashing into a group of motorcyclists, killing four people.
Investigators say 51-year-old Theresa Manetzke hit the group of drivers along Highway 39 north of Aurora in June of last year.
11 people were seriously injured, with four eventually dying of their injuries.
Manetzke is charged with:
- Four counts of second-degree murder
- Four counts of DWI resulting in death
- Six counts of DWI resulting in serious physical injury
She requested a change of venue and it was granted. Her case will now be tried in Barry County, and is scheduled to begin on January 27, 2025.
