Woman from Ava Charged with Stealing Drugs from Nursing Home

Webster County prosecutors have charged a woman from Ava for stealing narcotic drugs.

Lawyers have charged Sarah Johnson with stealing a controlled substance and meth manufacturing material.

Investigators were called to the Glenwood Nursing Home in Seymour after administrators asked for there to be an investigation the into missing narcotics. They also believe she replaced the stolen drugs with Tylenol.

The investigation later found Johnson in possession of the stolen drugs. She later admitted to stealing the drugs and that she was taking them for personal use.
