A woman from Springfield is now awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty to charges of arson for setting a home on fire.
Investigators say Fredaann Reed was arrested in September of last year following a fire at a home she was recently evicted from.
She admitted to authorities that she had set fire to a bedsheet that was being used as a curtain at the house.
She pleaded guilty to the arson charge on October 4, and has a sentencing hearing scheduled in December.
Reed is also facing separate charges for an alleged assault that occurred at a Walgreens. She is accused of hitting an employee at the pharmacy with a shopping cart, and shoving the victim into store shelving with both hands.
