What We Know: A 3-year-old girl from Cassville was seriously hurt Friday evening after a parked SUV rolled backward and ran over her.
What It Means: The Missouri State Highway Patrol says it happened around 5:20 on private property along Route Y, about two miles north of Cassville.
Troopers say a GMC Yukon accidentally shifted into gear, rolled over the little girl and then hit another parked SUV.
What’s Next: The child was flown by Mercy Life Line to Cox Medical Center South in Springfield with serious injuries.
