50k Grant to Ash Grove

Ash Grove is getting a $50,000 grant to improve it’s water and treatment facilities.

The grant is from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources. The city will add 12 thousand dollars to it.

The money will be used to clean pipelines and sewers and fix manholes.

City Clerk Melissa Mau says the town could get additional grants from DNR for more work on the water system.
