Absentee Voting in Greene County Begins Tuesday, February 20

For those who will be unable to vote in person for the April 2 election, the ability to vote absentee becomes available tomorrow.

If you wish to vote, you can go to the Greene County Elections Center on the corner of Boonville and Central in Springfield, which will be open from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

The office will be open during those hours Monday-Friday for absentee voting until the day of the election.

If you wish to vote absentee, go to the facility and have one of these forms of ID present with you:

  • A nonexpired Missouri driver or non-driver’s license
  • A nonexpired United State passport
  • A nonexpired military ID
  • A veteran’s ID card

You can also request a mail-in ballot by either a handwritten request or by completing the online form, which can be found here.

The deadline to request an absentee mail-in ballot is 5:00pm on March 20 and all mail-in ballots must be received by the clerk’s office by 7:00pm on the April 2.
