Adam Wainwright in Springfield, Holding First Concert at Hammons Field

Legendary St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Adam Wainwright is stopping in Springfield again, but not for a rehab start.

“Uncle Charlie” as he’s affectionately called, will be at Hammons Field for a music concert tomorrow night, the first concert in the history of the ballpark, in partnership with the Hatch Foundation.

It will also be the largest non-baseball event in the stadium’s history.

Crews have already begun putting together the stage and other parts of the concert.

Tickets are still available by going to the Springfield Cardinals website. You can also click here.
