A man has been sentenced to life in prison with 125 years for murdering a man in 2020.
A Douglas County judge sentenced William Wolfe of Ava to life in prison for first-degree murder in the shooting death of 84-year-old Clarence ‘Bob’ Clark and 125 years combined for other charges.
The sentences will run consecutively.
Witnesses say they saw Wolfe leave in Clark’s truck.
He was arrested after he tried to run Sheriff Chris Degase off the road and crashed the truck.
