Back to School Picture Safety

With school starting up across the Ozarks this week, Springfield Police are warning parents to be careful about posting pictures of their kids online.

Public Affairs Officer Chris Swaters says it’s ok to put pictures online, but parents should avoid details that identify where children go to school.

Swaters suggests taking pictures in front of a brick wall or a tree where no identifying features are in the photo.
