Officials with the City of Springfield are thrilled after another successful Birthplace of Route 66 Festival.
In a report released Thursday, the city says over 65,000 people attended the event.
The festival, now in its 11th year, took place in Springfield from August 10-12 of last week.
Those who attended included residents from 22 different states and various other countries, such as Germany, Spain and Italy.
