Classes at a public school in Nixa came to an abrupt end on Wednesday after a reported bomb threat at High Pointe Elementary School.
Nixa Schools Chief Communications Officer Zac Rantz says they evacuated the building and made sure students were safe.
Students were reunited with their parents.
Nixa Police responded to the scene.
Police say no suspicious devices were found.
It was determined that this was a web-based threat, and a similar threat came into a school district in Stoddard County, in southeast Missouri.
