Charges Filed in 2021 Springfield Drive-By Shooting

Greene County Prosecutors have officially filed charges against a man they believe was involved in a drive-by shooting in May of 2021.

The shooting occurred on May 19, 2021, when investigators say Brian Wilson fired shots out of the window of his vehicle at the intersection of Sunshine and Kansas Expressway.

Witnesses at the scene described Wilson as the suspect, and he was arrested shortly after attempting to flee the scene.

The incident ended without an injury, but one car did sustain damage from the gunshots.

Wilson has been charged with unlawful use of a weapon in the case.
