Charges Filed in Springfield Shooting Incident

A man has been charged after a shooting incident on West Mount Vernon street in Springfield last Wednesday.

Mathew Turner allegedly fired a shot into the air during a disturbance involving several people.

Turner is charged with stealing and unlawful use of a weapon.

Police say he also had several outstanding warrants.
