What We Know: Cider Days brought a little taste of fall to downtown Springfield over the weekend, even though the weather still felt a lot like summer.
What It Means: The 28th annual festival was held Saturday and Sunday along historic Walnut Street, featuring local art, live music, food and, of course, plenty of cider.
Organizers expected more than 30,000 people during the two-day event.
This year’s festival also marked a new partnership between the Downtown Springfield Association and the Springfield Regional Arts Council, bringing even more local artists, musicians and performers to the event.
The festival also put a spotlight on local businesses and the Ozarks arts community.
