Southwest Missouri stepped up for Hungerthon 2026, and thanks to your donations, we exceeded our goal of sponsoring 550 children with backpacks from Ozarks’ Food Harvest Weekend Backpack Program.
Thanks to the generous donations from listeners of 93-3 A-M 560 KWTO and all of our Zimmer stations, we have raised $252,316 to give backpacks with food to 701 kids in the Ozarks.
The Weekend Backpack Program provides nearly 1,800 local children who are facing hunger with 6 nutritious and accessible meals
But the need remains, and Hunger Action Month continues through the end of September. It’s not too late for you to make an impact.
