The National Weather Service is conducting damage reports from Wednesday’s storms that included an EF1 tornado..
Wind speeds in Aurora and Monett almost reached 95mph and damaged trees and buildings along the way.
The confirmed tornado touched down just outside of Monett at 4:30pm and continued for 11 miles, finally lifting in the Aurora area.
Reports say the storm damaged a barn in Monett, and moved a semi-truck into a field along with downing several trees and powerlines.
