The Springfield based charity Convoy Of Hope is deploying resources to the Perry, Florida area, which took a direct hit from Hurricane Helene, which came ashore Thursday night as a category 4 hurricane with winds up to 140 mph.
Convoy of Hope sends 14 semi-trucks full of food, water, hygiene products, and tarps. Convoy originally sent supplies to Tallahassee, but redirected after that city was mostly missed by the storm.
