A young boy is dead following a crash between a car and a bicycle in Granby, MO.
Highway Patrol troopers say the boy was riding his bike along Cole Street at around 5:30pm Thursday afternoon when he failed to stop at a stop sign.
While running the stop sign, he was hit by an oncoming car.
Investigators say the boy was not wearing a helmet, and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
It is the 86th fatality for MSHP Troop D in 2024.
