A judge has sentenced a woman from Ozark accused of causing a fatal crash in 2021 to 30 days in jail.
Marjorie DeWitt entered an Alford plea to charges of involuntary manslaughter and tampering with evidence in connection with the crash that killed Mercedes Luna near Rogersville.
Judge Jerry Harmison says he reluctantly approved the plea agreement.
He says it was too much for the family to continue with the case.
Dewitt reported to jail today.
