The Department of Justice has appointed an elections officer for the upcoming November election.
United States Attorney Teresa Moore announced that she has appointed Assistant United States Attorney Nicholas Heberle has been appointed to serve as the District Election Officer for the Western-District of Missouri.
Heberle will oversee the districts handling of election day voting rights concerns, threats of violence against election officials or staff, and election fraud.
