Donald Trump Announces Vice Presidential Pick

After months of swirling questions, President Trump announced his pick for Vice President at the Republicans National Convention in Milwaukee. JD Vance, a first-term senator from Ohio gets the nod.

Vance rose to popularity on the heels of his book “Hillbilly Elegy” released in 2016. Though Vance was strongly against Trump in the first half of his 2016 term, he has since given Trump his full support. Trump’s VP pick also served in the Military, earning the rank of Corporal in the Marines.
