UPDATE: Missing Person Rachel Morgan Located Deceased

UPDATE: Springfield police reported late Sunday evening that Rachel Morgan, the subject of an endangered missing person alert, was positively identified Sunday as the deceased Jane Doe located by the police department on March 4th near College and Fort.

Authorities say the circumstances of Morgan’s death to not appear to be suspicious.

Morgan’s family has been notified.

Original Story: The Springfield Police Department has issued an endangered person advisory for a missing woman.

Springfield Police say 40-year-old Rachel Morgan was last seen on March 1 at a residence at 937 West Elm Street around 11:30 pm.

She is without her medication.

Morgan is five foot five, 145 pounds with dark brown hair, blue eyes.

She has scars and tattoos on her forearms.
