An execution date has been set for a man who was convicted of killing a Missouri state trooper.
The Missouri Supreme Court set the execution date for Lance Shockley of Van Buren to be October 14, 2025.
A jury found Shockley guilty of first-degree murder in the death of Sgt. Dewayne Graham outside his home in Carter County in 2005.
Graham had been investigating a fatal crash that Shockley was involved in when he shot Graham.
