Some residents in Bolivar had a scare Tuesday evening when some tornado sirens in Polk County went off by accident.
The sirens sounded around 7 p.m.
Boivar’s Office of Emerency Management says it was a technical problem.
The system has recently been updated.
The Office of Emergency Management says they are sorry for any confusion caused by the malfunction.
