Fire At Chicken Farm In Polk County

A fire at a farm in Polk County Tuesday afternoon killed a large number of chickens.

The fire destroyed a barn killing 10,000 chickens.

Pleasant Hope Fire District Chief Greg Wood says the cause of the fire is unknown.

None of the workers at the farm were injured.
