Former Teacher at Bakersfield and Lutie School Districts Pleads Guilty to Sexual Contact with a Student

A former teacher in Howell County will now serve out her punishment after pleading guilty to charges stemming from a relationship with a 16-year-old student.

30-year-old Victoria Fowler was originally charged with four counts of statutory rape or sodomy.

Reports say the parents of the student found lude images of her on the teens phone that she allegedly took in the shower and sent willingly.

Detectives in Ozark County interviewed Fowler, during which she admitted to having a sexual relationship with the 16-year-old, and had inappropriate images of the teen on her phone as well.

She pleaded guilty March 8 to two counts of felony sexual contact with a student.

Fowler was sentenced to five years of supervised probation, and has been ordered not to have contact with the victim or any other students at the school.

She is also prohibited from having unsupervised contact with anyone under the age of 18 other than her children.

Lastly, Fowler agreed to surrender her teaching license as part of the plea deal.
