Governor Mike Parson has deployed the Missouri National Guard and other Department of Safety Resources to Florida for Hurricane Milton response.
Governor Parson ordered 100 National Guard members, 21 State Patrol troopers, five Disaster Medical Assistant Team members, and civilian support staff to the State of Florida once the immediate threat from Hurricane Milton has passed.
They will assist for 5 to 20 days depending on the need.
The estimated cost of the combined deployment in $1.6 million dollars by the Governor’s Office emergency response fund.
